Impinj Jumps Almost 10% in Monday After-Market

Impinj Inc. (PI) was sharply higher late Monday after reporting a non-GAAP Q1 net loss of $0.38 per share during the three months ended March 31, reversing a $0.01 per share adjusted profit during the year-ago period and just wider than the Capital IQ consensus call expecting an adjusted net loss of $0.37 per share.

The networking components company also generated $25.1 in revenue during the January-to-March reporting period, down from $31/73 million in revenue during the same quarter last year but still beating the $23.96 million analyst mean.

Looking forward, the company is projecting a non-GAAP Q2 net loss between $0.30 to $0.38 per share, straddling the Street view expecting $0.33 per share. It also sees revenue during the current quarter in a range of $25 million to $27 million, exceeding the Street view by at least $630,000.
